Quality - Efficiency - Economy
That’s what most of our clients ask for with CCTV, and that’s exactly what we give them. Every site is different. Expectation and understanding are usually led by James Bond or other Sci-fi movies.
We design and install quality equipment with reduced overheads and simple operation at affordable prices. We also arrange leasing for larger systems.
As a general guide, Video recorders are a thing of the past. The DVR is in, which is similar to a DVD player that most households now have. The DVR continuously records all cameras at the same time, even when you are playing a recording back, the DVR continues to watch and record. DVR’s are all in colour. The colour inputs come in 4, 8, 9, 16 and more. The price will depend upon how many cameras you will require and how long you will want them to record for. This will depend on the size of the hard-drive (memory). The bigger the memory required, the higher the cost.
If you have a colour camera, you will want a colour screen to watch it on. Colour monitors are more expensive than mono (black & white) and again the size of the screen will determine the price. Colour and mono cameras can be mixed.
Installation is the last variable. More cameras and longer distance to run to cameras will be the main variable. If you can keep the system compact, then you will reduce your installation cost. The images will depend upon the location of the cameras.
Internal cameras looking towards an external door rarely produce a good sharp image. Better to put the camera over the door looking inward, and maybe an external view from the door. Remember, people who enter by the door usually leave by the same door.
From one camera to pan, tilt and zoom, we are here to advise, discuss, and deliver!
